Issue #019: It’s okay to not have everything figured out
my personal story

Read Time: 2.2 minutes
👋 Hey Money Peeps,
I’ve been toying with an idea recently.
One that genuinely scares me a little bit.
One that I’ve avoided taking action on for the past 6 months.
Yep that’s right - even someone that puts themselves out there on the internet on a daily basis has fears and insecurities that people won’t like their next idea 🤦♂️
But then I thought to myself, why keep putting it off, when I have an incredible newsletter audience that I can just ask, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
No offence to my TikTok audience - but you guys are just so much better.
After sharing it with you, I’d be eternally grateful if you could answer the poll at the end 🙂
So here it is:
The no.1 question I get online is:
“Thanks so much for yet again making another video showing me why I should be investing (in a sarcastic tone), but how the f*** do I actually get started?”
And that made me think, maybe I should run a workshop, a couple of hours where I literally vomit onto you everything I’ve learned about investing since I started 5 years ago.
5 years of mistakes, reading, testing platforms, teaching online and perfecting my strategy.
Yep that’s the big idea:
An Investing Workshop
I’d cover things including:
Why Invest
Is investing for you
The things you need to do before investing
How to get into the right frame of mind to invest
How to actually deposit your first pound
How much to invest
Where to invest
Best platforms to invest
Strategies I use to invest
How to make investing a little more fun (even though I like it boring)
And a bunch more!
In terms of details:
it would run one weekday evening at the end of Feb
it would last about 2/3 hours with a Q&A
It would cost £75
readers of the newsletter get a discount (at least 25%)
I’d limit it to 100 people max.
So yeah, I have one simple question:
Are you down? |
